Event Changes and Withdrawals
Can I change events?
We understand that sometimes injury or illness may interupt your training and ability to run in your choosen event on the day. For this reason, you can change between events by completing a change of event form as long as that event is not sold out.
To change events during event week (anytime after 8th September, 2017 at 5pm), please complete the Change of Event form and visit the ASICS Event Expo 'Changes Desk'.
No changes will be made unless you bring your original Event Kit to the 'Event Changes' desk with the required form.

Please note: Race changes are subject to availability as particular start groups and events will sell out prior to Sunday 17 September 2017.
Any upgrades to the Sydney Marathon after Sunday 20 August 2017 will not receive a personalised race bib.
Can I transfer my entry or obtain a refund?
Entry fees are non-refundable for non-starters and non-finishers as per the event's terms and conditions agreed to at the time of registration. We do not allow transfers of entry (to another person).
75% of entry fees are refundable prior to 30 July 2017.
After 31 July 2017 we do not offer refunds, but allow you to instead defer your entry until 2018. Deferred will only be processed if you email the withdrawal form by Friday, 8 September 2017 or in-person at the ASICS Event Expo by Saturday, 16 September at 4pm. This means you will be provided with a promo code to waive your fee for 2018 only. Credit note will be given for the next consecutive year only. Any unused deferred credit note will not be refunded and cannot be transferred to the following year or to another person. Deferred entrants must enter before the early bird period, which is 31 July 2018.
All 2016 deferred entrants must enter between September 18 2016 and July 31 2017.
